CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION CLASSES

This is a wonderful alternative for those looking for a more comprehensive childbirth education series. Taught by 2 very experienced RN’s, Amy Blain and Fina Arnold, this 7-class series covers everything you can think of, including natural childbirth, labor processes, pain management issues, hospital procedures, infant CPR, breast-feeding, baby basics and more. They use a combination of visual aids, PowerPoint presentations, films, handouts, and even a tiny bit of homework, all designed to maximize your educational experience and help you become as prepared as possible for your upcoming birth experience.

The 7-session weekly classes are currently available at Good Samaritan Hospital. They also offer a 2-Saturday program here in Pasadena, lunch included, that covers the same material. If enough Pasadena couples register, they will add a Pasadena location to their program! Let’s show Amy and Fina that we want to have them teach here in Pasadena.
